Description

This pair of gate-piers and the flanking walls, located directly to the west of South Lodge, date from around the mid-19th century. They are constructed from snecked stone rubble, featuring granite quoins and coping. The gate-piers are roughly rectangular in shape with curved ends and have flat granite coping on top. The lower flanking walls are made of snecked stone and are topped with moulded granite coping.
