Description

Milestone located 20 metres to the south of Hole Farm, likely from the 19th century. It is a painted granite post that is rectangular in shape with a rounded top. The milestone features incised black painted letters that read 'L 4'. This milestone is associated with the Turnpike Road Act for roads leading into Launceston, which was passed in 1760.
