Description

This milestone, located 500 metres to the west of Hallworthy, dates from the early to mid 19th century. It is made of granite and has a monolithic structure with a rectangular shape. The milestone is inscribed with "L 11". It relates to the Turnpike Road Act for roads leading into Launceston, which was passed in 1761.
