Description

Trevivian Farmhouse dates to the early 19th century. It is constructed of stone rubble, with the front elevation covered in slate. The slate roof has gable ends, with one section reslated in the 1980s and another section retaining rag slates. Brick end stacks are present.

Originally, the farmhouse comprised two rooms with a central passage, heated by end stacks. Around the early to mid-19th century, a single-room wing was added to the right gable end, also heated by an end stack. A lean-to outshot was added to the left gable end in the 19th century.

The symmetrical two-window range on the left has two 19th-century centre-hung 2-light casements on the ground floor and two later 19th-century casements on the first floor. A stone-rubble porch was remodelled in the mid-19th century, containing a 20th-century panelled door. The asymmetrical two-window range on the right has a late 19th-century 6-pane sash window on the ground floor, a 2-light casement, and a late 19th-century 4-pane sash window on the first floor.

The interior has not been inspected.
