Description
The lychgate, dating from around the 18th century, is located to the east of the Church of St David in Davidstow. It is constructed from granite and stone rubble and serves as the east entrance to the churchyard. The two side walls feature benches on the inside, topped with granite coping. The entrance is divided in the center by a coffin rest that has chamfered granite coping. Additionally, there are granite cattle grids positioned between the central coffin rest and the side walls.
