This is a milestone located 30 metres to the northwest of Cold Northcott, dating from the early 19th century. It is made of granite and painted white, featuring a rectangular shape with a rounded top. The milestone is inscribed with 'L 9'. It relates to the Turnpike Road Act for roads leading into Launceston, which was passed in 1760.
