TRENEGLOS SX 28 NW 7/183 Farmhouse at SX21888627 and barn - attached on north

Farmhouse and attached barn. Probably C18, extended in early C19. Rendered stone rubble. Rag slate roof with gable ends. Brick end stack on left and stone rubble axial stack to left of centre. Plan: 2-room and cross or through passage plan, the left hand heated by an end stack. Ground sloping down to left. Extended in circa later C18 or early C19 with a barn on the higher right hand end and further extended in circa early C19 with a third room on the lower left hand end, heated by an end stack. Exterior: 2 storeys. Long low 1:3 window front with an almost symmetrical facade to the earlier central range; early C20 part glazed door with slate hood flanked by two C19 2-light casements. First floor with C19 3-light casement to left and C19 2-light casement in centre and to right. C19 2-light casement on ground and first floor of C19 extensions to left. Slightly lower roof to barn on right which has a blind back wall on this side. The rear elevation was not inspected. Interior: Not accessible.
