Description

The bridge over the River Kensey, built in the mid-19th century, is constructed from slatestone rubble with granite dressings. It features two spans supported by granite lintels. On the upstream side, there are triangular cutwaters topped with render. The parapet walls are made of rubble with rubble coping and include a roughly hewn granite monolith pier at each side of the southern end. The walls stand approximately one metre high and extend about 10 metres to the northeast, where they are splayed back. The overall dimensions of the bridge are about 10 metres long and 4 metres wide.
