Description
The Blacksmith's Shop is a blacksmith's shop dating from the early to mid-19th century. It features walls made of killas rubble with granite dressings and has a Roman tile roof with gable ends. The building has a rectangular plan with the forge located at the right-hand end. It is a single-storey structure. The east front includes a central shuttered window and a doorway on the left, which has granite monolithic jambs; the right-hand jamb also serves as the jamb for the window opening. The doorway has an old ledged door and old shutters. Inside, there is a large granite fireplace at the right-hand end, and at the front of the building, there is a blacksmith's iron moulding cone.
