Description

Gweek Bridge is a road bridge that spans a tributary stream of the Helford River, dating from the early 19th century. The central section of the bridge is constructed from granite ashlar, while the rest is made of granite rubble with granite dressings. It features a two-span skew design with original parapets that extend along the road sides at both ends. The bridge has semi-circular cutwaters and round arches, with granite ashlar up to a parapet string, a rubble parapet, and hog's back copings.
