Description

PERRANZABULOE SW 75 SE 5/98 Blewett and Mitchell tombs at approximately 30 metres west of Church of St Piran - GV II

2 chest tombs. Circa 1855 and 1867. Slate chest to Ann Blewett, died 1867; freestone chest to Captain David Mitchell, 1788-1855. One chest is dressed freestone, the other is dressed slate. Both chests are rectangular on plan. Slate chest has moulded plinth, panelled sides, corner balusters and moulded lid. The other chest has monolithic sides and a moulded lid.
