Description
This is a chest tomb located about 18 meters southwest of the east churchyard gate. It dates from the mid-19th century and is signed "T. Mitchell, St. Thos." The tomb is made of freestone and features a large design with corner pilasters and a hipped lid. The panels on the chest are set within sunk mouldings, and there is an inscription on the side that commemorates Anne Fryer, who died in 1854. It is a large and imposing chest tomb.
