Description
This is a pair of chest tombs located about 3 meters northeast of the chancel of the Church of St Mary, dating from the early 19th century. The southernmost tomb is made of stone rubble and features a slate lid with scratch mouldings, commemorating George Mitchell, who died in 1813. The northernmost tomb is constructed from stone ashlar and has a hollow chamfered cornice, also topped with a slate lid that includes scratch mouldings. This tomb commemorates Ann Mitchell, who died in 1841.
