Description

This is a well-head located approximately 40 metres west of Lower Treave Farmhouse, likely dating from the 18th century. It features roughly-hewn granite moorstone monoliths and has a rectangular roofed chamber over a spring. There are steps leading down into a large doorway at one end, and the structure is built with a lintelled roof construction.
