Description
The wall round and the tombstone in the Quakers burial ground is a plain walled enclosure located at a road junction. It covers an approximately square area of about 50 feet by 60 feet, with a granite rubble wall that stands around 3 feet high. A notable feature is a mid-17th century inscribed table tombstone, which is significant as it is believed that Quakers rarely marked graves. Burials in this site occurred between 1659 and 1789.
