Description
This is a well-head located immediately to the west of Westacott Barton, likely dating from the 17th century. It features stone rubble side walls and a gabled roof that is corbelled on the inside. The small square building has a round granite arched opening at the front, which includes a granite inner arch. Inside, there is a circular well, and the structure is built into the bank at the rear. This well-head is noted as a particularly good example of an early secular well-head.
