Description
The gazebo, located immediately to the east of Nichol's Nymet House Hotel, is a Grade II listed structure, likely built around 1816, contemporaneous with the hotel. It features rendered walls with rusticated stucco quoins at the front and has a pyramidal slate roof. The gazebo is designed with a square, one-room plan on each of its two floors. The exterior is two storeys high and has a symmetrical front with one window. The first floor has a 20th-century two-light casement window set in a circular recess, suggesting that the original window may have been circular. Below, there are 19th-century double part-glazed doors, and at the rear, facing the house, there is a 19th-century two-panel door on a splayed side. Additionally, there is a blocked circular window opening on the right-hand wall at the first floor.
