Description

The gazebo in the garden of Nos 15 and 16, known as The Caprons, dates from the late 18th century. It features weatherboarding and a slate hipped concave roof topped with a weathervane. The structure has an octagonal plan and is a single storey. There are sash windows in open boxes on three sides facing south, southwest, and west, along with a half-glazed door on the northwest side. Notably, the gazebo is situated on the southwest corner of the medieval town walls.
