Description

The walls on the east and west sides of Paine's Twittern are structures from the 18th and 19th centuries, with some patches made in the 21st century. They are constructed from red and blue brick, featuring sections of chequer and knapped flint, along with some red and blue brick banding. The walls are approximately 8 to 12 feet high and about 100 yards long. They include various blocked arches, irregular patches of quoining, and several doors leading to gardens and buildings behind.
