Description
The Holy Well of St Credan is a possibly medieval structure located in Sancreed. It is built from granite moorstone and dressed granite moorstone. A steep flight of stone steps leads down into the well, which is fed by a natural spring. The steps and the well are covered by granite lintels that are topped with earth.
