Description

Glebe Farmhouse is a circa early 19th-century farmhouse. It is constructed of coursed granite rubble to the front wall, with painted rubble elsewhere. The roof is of scantle slate, hipped, and includes rendered chimneys over the side walls, as well as cast-iron gutters with an ogee section. The plan is a double-depth design, likely featuring two reception rooms at the front, flanking a central entrance hall which leads to a stair hall located between two rear service rooms. The east front is nearly symmetrical, with three windows, and a doorway centrally positioned within the window arrangement. The original panelled front door remains. Original 12-pane hornless sash windows are present on the first floor, while the ground floor windows are 20th-century replacements. The interior has not been inspected.
