Description
This wellhead, located approximately 10 metres south of Trengrouse Farmhouse, is likely of Medieval origin. It features an inner structure made with reused Medieval granite fragments, including the doorway's sill and head, as well as jambs and curved stones that may have originally served as copings. An iron gate from the 19th century indicates when this doorway was added. The wellhead has a semi-circular inner rubble structure topped with a half dome corbelled roof.
