Description

Albany Cottage is a small terraced house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of painted slatestone rubble and has a rendered front. The roof is made of asbestos slate and features brick chimneys at the gable ends. The house has a two-room plan plus a lean-to and stands two storeys high with a two-window front. The nearly central door is sheltered by a shallow gable-roofed porch, which is similar to the porch of the lean-to on the right. The doors are panelled, and the windows are four-paned sashes with horns, supported by wooden lintels. The interior has not been inspected. Albany Cottage is included for its group value.
