Description

This is a small house, likely dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of painted slatestone rubble with a scantle slate roof, featuring a brick chimney over the left-hand gable and a shared wall on the right. The house follows a two-room central stair plan. The front has two windows, with a central 20th-century glazed door and a 20th-century hipped roof glazed porch. There are six-paned sash windows with horns. Balling (or decorative timber brackets) between the first-floor windows is probably a reconstruction. The interior has not been inspected. The building is included on the list for its group value.
