Description

Laburnum Cottage is an early 19th century terraced house located on Veryan Green in Veryan. The house is constructed of painted render, likely over cob walls, with a rubble base. It has a grouted scantle slate roof and brick chimneys over the gable ends. The property follows a central stair plan with two rooms. It is two storeys high and has a three-window east and road front. A top-glazed four-panel door is slightly off-centre to the left, accompanied by a shallow, top-glazed porch with a cornice, possibly dating to the Edwardian period. It has four-paned sash windows with horns, displaying a slightly irregular arrangement. The interior has not been inspected. The building is included on the list for its group value.
