Description

Roseland Cottage is a pair of early 19th-century cottages, now combined into a single dwelling. The exterior is painted slatestone and render, potentially over cob, with an asbestos slate roof and brick chimneys on the gable ends. Originally, the cottages had a two-room plan. The front facade has three windows. A pair of doorways are positioned towards the middle; one has a planked door and a hood supported by brackets, and the other has a window. All windows are 16-pane sashes. A first-floor window slightly to the left of the centre may have belonged to the original left cottage or is a later insertion. The interior has not been inspected.
