Description

No. 8 The Green is a terraced house from the late 18th century, rendered with a mid 20th century concrete tiled roof and a rebuilt brick end stack on the left side. The building has two storeys and features a late 19th century two-storey canted bay window on the left, which includes sash windows and moulded cornices on each floor. To the right, there is a doorway with a four-panelled door beneath an overlight that has glazing bars and an architrave. Further to the right is a late 20th century door that provides access to No. 7 The Green, along with a late 19th century sash window above it, which has a painted stone wedge lintel and sill. This building is included for its group value.
