Description

No. 6 The Green is a house dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of rendered brick and features a swept tile roof with a brick stack at one end. The building has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys high, with a single-window range. The entrance, located to the left, is sheltered by a flat bracketed canopy and has a narrow overlight above a six-fielded-panel door, which is fitted with a contemporary nowy-headed lock plate that has an inverted-T slot. The ground floor window is a two-pane sash, while the first-floor window is a 12-pane horned sash. This property is included for its group value.
