Description

Forebridge Lock-up is an 18th-century lock-up building located on Lichfield Road in Stafford. It is constructed of ashlar stone and has a rectangular shape with short wall ends on the left side. The stone roof is offset and features a hipped right end. The entrance has a plain surround topped with a gabled lintel. At the rear, there is a large unglazed and barred window. The left return of the building retains the wall ends of the 17th-century White Lion Inn, which has since been demolished.
