Description

The Gateways at the Chetwynd Centre were built in 1928 and are located opposite the entrance to the assembly hall. They are constructed from brown brick with ashlar dressings. The central gateway features two square piers that have moulded caps and cornices, along with a pair of arch-top wrought iron gates. There is a similar gateway located opposite the entrance to the library block.
