Description

ZENNOR BOSIGRAN SW 43 NW 3/295 Barn at approximately 30 metres - north east of Bosigran Farmhouse GV II Barn, possibly formerly a house or a pair of cottages. Probably C18 but possibly older, remodelled in the C19. Granite rubble with granite dressings. Scantle slate roof with gable ends. Plan: long rectangular plan with shippon (now loose boxes) to ground floor and granary above with central opposing winnowing doorways. Exterior: 2 storeys. North front with doorway towards left and right with 2 ventilator windows between. First floor has blocked opening over left hand doorway and central loading/winnowing doorway. Rear openings mostly blocked. Interior: not inspected. Part of an unspoiled coastal hamlet set in the ancient field system of this part of Cornwall.
