Attached house. c1780. Stucco with limestone dressings, roof not visible. Double-depth plan. Mid Georgian style. 3 storeys and basement; 3-window range. Moulded coping to parapet and gable; a central, projecting doorcase has pilasters and a canopy, a rectangular overlight and 6-panel door. Left-hand C19 two-storey canted bay has plate-glass ground-floor sashes and first-floor sashes with margin bars and a dentil cornice; the rest are 6/6-pane sashes, set slightly lower over the door, and with semicircular heads to the right on the ground and first floors. Symmetrical rear has small cast-iron balconies to ground-floor windows. INTERIOR: central hall with a dogleg stair with stick balusters, 6-panel doors, double shutters with 2 panels, and fluted fireplaces with roundels. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: attached front area railings with urn finials curve up Pennant steps to the door, and a rubble garden wall attached to the right return has a brick pointed-arched doorway.
