Description

Number 28 is an attached house located on Kingsdown Parade in Bristol, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of stucco with limestone dressings, featuring a tall brick party wall stack and a pantile hipped roof. The building has a single-depth plan and is designed in a late Georgian style. It stands two storeys high, with a basement and attic, and has a one-window range. The parapet has moulded coping, and there is a left-hand doorcase with fluted consoles supporting a pediment. The entrance includes a 4-light fanlight above a 6-panel door. The ground floor features a canted bay with an 8/8-pane sash window flanked by 6/6-pane sashes, while the first floor has 8/8-pane sashes with cambered heads, and there are casements in the dormer and basement. The property also includes attached cast-iron front area railings at the entrance. The interior has not been inspected.
