House. Late C18. Stucco with limestone dressings, roof not visible. Double-depth plan. Mid Georgian style. 3 storeys and basement; 3-window range. Parapeted front with coped gables has a regular 2-window range to the left with a central door, and separately-spaced 1-window range to the right. The doorway has large brackets to a canopy, plate-glass fanlight and a 6-panel door, the top panels glazed; C19 left-hand canted bay has horned 8/8-pane sashes flanked by 6/6-pane sashes and a dentil cornice; 6/6-pane sashes above with thick bars. The windows to the right are slightly lower than the first- and second-floor windows to the left: a semicircular-arched sash on the ground floor, and 8/8-pane sash above. The rear is a symmetrical elevation with outer canted ground-floor bays. INTERIOR not inspected. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: attached front area railings either side of the door steps, and rubble garden wall to the left return.
