Description

Number 26 is an early 19th-century house with attached front area railings, situated on Kingsdown Parade in Bristol. The house is constructed of stucco with limestone dressings, featuring a tall brick party wall stack and a pantile hipped roof. It follows a single-depth plan and is designed in a late Georgian style. The building is two storeys high, with a basement and attic, and has a single-window frontage. Architectural details include moulded coping to the parapet, a doorcase with a deep bracketed canopy and rectangular overlight, a six-panel door, cambered heads above six-over-six-pane sash windows, and casement windows in the dormers and basement. The interior remains uninspected. Attached to the entrance are cast-iron front area railings.
