Description

Nos. 12B, 12C, and 12D on Kingsdown Parade are a terrace of three houses built in the mid-19th century. They are constructed from snecked limestone ashlar with limestone dressings, and the roof is not visible. The houses have a double-depth plan and consist of three storeys plus a basement, each featuring a one-window range.

The terrace displays rusticated party wall pilasters that extend to the cornice and parapet, along with a sill band on the second floor. The left-hand doorcases and the right-hand doorcase of No. 12C have moulded consoles supporting a cornice, with plate-glass rectangular overlights above six-panel doors. The windows are tripartite, featuring plate-glass horned sashes and architraves. The basement windows are plain, while the ground floor windows have foliate capitals, the first floor windows have consoles supporting their cornices, and the second floor windows feature impost blocks and a central key. The interior has not been inspected.
