Description

Number 11 is a house located on Marlborough Hill in Kingsdown, Bristol, built in the late 18th century. It features a stucco exterior with limestone dressings, brick gable stacks, and a pantile roof, showcasing a late Georgian style. The house has two storeys and a four-window range, with a regular front that includes a clasping right-hand pilaster and a coped parapet. The ground floor was not visible during the review, but the first floor has 6/6-pane sash windows, with 8/8-pane windows on the right-hand side.

An attached garden wall made of limestone rubble extends approximately 20 meters south along the road. This wall includes a brick segmental arch and double doors, adorned with ornate wrought-iron grilles. A brick extension at the left-hand end is not included in the listing. The adjacent property, No. 13, which dates to 1734, may also indicate the construction date of No. 11. The interior of the house was not inspected.
