Description

This is a late Georgian house, built between 1817 and 1819. It was later altered with a mid-20th century shop front. The house is constructed of brick with decorative brick detailing, slate-clad returns, and a slate roof. It follows a double-depth plan and is three storeys high, with a three-window frontage. Horizontal plat bands are visible on the ground and first floors, with a cornice that returns at the ends of the building and a parapet above. The first-floor windows are sash windows with 6 panes per sash, and the second-floor windows are sash windows with 3 panes per sash. The ground floor has a full-width shop front dating from the mid-20th century. The interior of the ground floor has been altered.
