Description

2 Castle Street is a late Georgian, two-bay, three-storey house constructed of brick and painted white, topped with a graded slate roof. The windows feature wedge lintels, with 12-pane horned sashes on the middle storey and 9-pane horned sashes on the upper storey. The lower storey includes a late 19th-century shop front that retains fluted pilasters and panelled fascia end brackets. The shop front has a replaced door that is recessed to the centre, along with a half-lit panelled door on the left end providing access to the upper storeys.
