Description

Ty Sidan is a Georgian house and shop, built with scribed stucco and a slate roof. It is tall and narrow, featuring three storeys and a two-window range. The lower storey includes an early 19th-century shop front, which has a panelled door beneath a small-pane overlight and a large hornless sash window to the right. Below this window, the stallboard has an infilled cellar opening with a wooden lintel. The shop front is enhanced by reeded pilasters, a plain fascia, and a moulded cornice.

The upper storeys feature windows set within round-headed arches, with blank panels framed by pilasters below the sills. The hornless sash windows have Gothic glazing bars with a distinctive lozenge detail. The upper windows are shorter but include deeper panels beneath the sills. Above the upper-storey windows, there is a blank inscription panel located below the eaves.
