Description
Hendre Gaerog is a late Georgian house that stands two storeys high and features three bays. The exterior is finished with roughcast walls and has rusticated quoins. It is topped with a hipped slate roof that has a moulded cornice, and there are roughcast stacks on both the right and left sides of the building.
On the lower storey, there is a central door with ribbed panels, accompanied by a neo-classical wrought iron overlight with radial glazing. The outer bays are adorned with late 19th-century canted bay windows that have a dentil cornice and contain 24-pane horned sash windows. A lean-to veranda is present, supported by cast iron posts and wooden arches featuring pierced spandrels, and it has a replaced glazed roof that is hipped at the ends.
The upper storey is fitted with 12-pane horned sash windows that are set within moulded architraves. Additionally, the left side wall includes a 9-pane sash window located in the upper left section.
