Description

Cae Llenor is a late Georgian style house featuring three bays and two storeys, along with an attic and basement. The front is symmetrical and finished in scribed stucco, topped with a hipped slate roof that has wide bracketed eaves. There are roughcast stacks on both the right and left sides. The central bay is slightly projected forward and includes a doorway framed by Ionic pilasters and a moulded entablature, although the door itself has been replaced. The lower storey features tripartite small-pane hornless sash windows, while the upper storey has 12-pane hornless sash windows. To the right, there is a lean-to that belongs to a separate property, and on the left side, there are boarded garage doors leading to a lean-to behind a high coped wall.

The rear of the house is also symmetrical, with central double half-lit panelled doors that have margin glazing and a raised field above. The outer bays contain tripartite horned sashes above replaced basement windows, and the upper storey mirrors the front with 12-pane hornless sash windows. A gabled dormer located to the left of centre features a top-hung casement.

The original layout of the house has been preserved, which includes the main rooms on the ground floor, a kitchen in the basement, and service rooms in the attic. The main entrance opens into a vestibule that has a classical plaster cornice and a round arch leading to a stair hall at the back. This stair hall retains a full-height open-well stair with a wreathed handrail, plain balusters, and moulded tread ends. All doors were replaced when the house was converted into offices.
