Description

Temperance House is a late 18th century to early 19th century late Georgian building that stands two storeys high with an attic and features a roughcast front. The structure likely has origins dating back to the 17th century. It has a modern slate roof and brick chimney stacks at each end. The building includes paired pitched roof dormers that have bargeboards, finials, and casement windows. The façade is adorned with 12-pane sash windows and a 4-pane shop window to the left of the central entrance, which consists of a 4-panel door topped by a bracketed pitched hood.

Inside, the property retains a central cross-passage that features concealed beams.
