Description
Rosetta is a late 18th century Georgian building featuring three storeys and a basement, with a three-window rendered front that has undergone later alterations. The building has a slate roof and rubble end chimney stacks. The windows are recessed sash windows, although most of the glazing bars have been removed, and there is a splayed bay window on the left side. The central entrance is topped with a bracketed hood and leads to a four-pane boarded door, which is accessed by parallel rubble steps.
On the rendered right end wall, there are sash and casement windows flanking a driveway that is entered between rubble gate piers. The rear of the building is made of rubble and includes a small pane window with a segmental head. A rubble boundary wall extends south towards Dragon Park.
Inside, it is reported that there are blocked windows on the left end, suggesting that this structure predates Moir House and The Limes.
