Folly tower. Late C18. Tall tapering square obelisk of coursed limestone rubble. Pointed-arched openings to east and west sides, producing walk-through passage at ground floor level; diagonal buttresses with set-offs; small pointed-arched openings on each face and pyramidal cap. Carved owl to keystone on arched opening. Historical Note: known locally as the Owl Tower. Prior to a boundary change these structures were in the Keynsham Area list. The entries in the 5th list for the District of Keynsham have been removed by virtue of the 7th amendment.
