Description

Dapp's Hill Bridge is a bridge that spans the River Chew. It dates from the late 17th century and has undergone some alterations in the late 20th century. The bridge is constructed of coursed rubble with some dressed stone used for the buttresses and arches. It features two segmental arches with a central buttress-cutwater that is set diagonally. Late 20th century metal handrails are present on each side of the bridge. Dapp's Hill Bridge is part of a group with Nos 1-8 (consecutive) Chew Cottages, Dapp's Hill.
