Description

This is a mid-18th century attached house located in Keynsham. It is built with whitewashed render over rubble walls, with ashlar copings and a gabled roof covered in single-Roman tiles. The south-east end features a brick stack. The house has a double-depth plan.

The exterior is two storeys high with a two-window front. The facade has an irregular arrangement of windows: on the ground floor, there is a 12-pane sash window to the left of the doorway and a smaller, 8-pane sash window with horns to the right. The first floor has two 12-pane sash windows, the right-hand one also with horns. All the sash windows are set within plain reveals and have sills. A four-panel door is topped by a flat hood supported on shaped brackets.

The interior of the house has not been inspected. The house forms part of a row that steps downhill to the south-east and has group value when considered alongside numbers 12 and 16.
