Description

62 Gloucester Road is a house that has been converted into a shop. It dates from around 1800 and has undergone some alterations in the 20th century. The building is constructed of painted limestone ashlar and features a double-pitched pantile roof with moulded stacks at the gable ends. It has a double depth plan with an additional 20th-century block at the rear. The exterior is two storeys high and has a symmetrical arrangement of two windows. The windows and door are from the 20th century, and there is a stone porch with reeded fronts to the hood and jambs. The interior has not been inspected but is noted to have been altered. This building is the only remaining house from what was once a terrace that has since been demolished.
