Description
The Post Office is a house that has been converted into a house and shop. It dates from the early 19th century and has undergone some later alterations. The building is constructed of ashlar stone and features a pantile roof. It has three bays and stands two storeys high, with quoins at the corners.
On the right bay, there is a half-glazed door with an overlight, set below a flat arch with voussoirs. The left bay has a 20th-century projecting shop front that is not of special interest. On the first floor, there are three 4-pane sash windows with stone sills. The right side has a shaped kneeler and stone coping, and there are brick stacks at each end. The building is included for its group value.
