Description

The gate piers to the Hall date from the early 18th century and were partially rebuilt in the 20th century. They are constructed of ashlar and brick and feature two rusticated square piers that have moulded bands, friezes, cornices, and blocking courses. The front and rear faces of the piers include a brick pilaster, while the inner faces have narrow stone pilasters topped with scroll brackets. These gate piers are included for their group value.
